About the Opportunity:

Vesta Automation Inc. is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative. Duties will include seeking opportunities with new and existing customers, preparing quotations for services and material supply, working with procurement and management teams to meet customer schedules and needs in a very dynamic market.

Highlights and Responsibilities:

  • Scout for new sales prospects, collaborating closely with production and design teams.
  • Coordinate sales visits, either independently or with product specialists and supplier representatives to customer locations.
  • Manage relationships with customers, consultants, and vendors, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering continued collaboration.
  • Cultivate and expand connections with current clientele through regular visits.
  • Prepare and deliver estimates, technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations for clients.
  • Aid customers in resolving issues by gathering information, adding value, and formulating customer quotations outlining solution based proposals.
  • Negotiate and be involved with clients from sales lead to project execution.
  • Broaden the existing customer base by initiating meetings and presenting proposals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop technical documentation (e.g., technical specifications, tender documents, layouts, scope of supply) to determine optimal solutions.
  • Actively participate in conferences, vendor events, seminars, and other relevant industry gatherings.
  • Prepare or adapt presentations to cater to specific meeting requirements and public presentations.

General Requirements:

The role necessitates a motivated, decisive individual capable of working under time constraints with minimal supervision. Proficiency in collaborating within project teams and effectively conveying technical information and concepts to customers is essential.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other locations, as needed.
  • Remote working space with reliable access to communication services.


  • Possession of an engineering degree relating to industrial automation, electrical or software engineering, or a relevant technician's degree. Your professional background will ideally be complemented by experience in automation hardware & software, with IT hardware knowledge considered advantageous.
  • 5+ years of sales and/or engineering experience, preferably in Automation, Industrial Electrical, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • A dynamic, hands-on approach with an ownership mentality.
